Thank you for your support!
Thank you for your continued patience and support of the I-75 Modernization Project. We have made great progress throughout Segment 2 (North of 13 Mile to North of Coolidge Highway), including rebuilding bridges at Coolidge Highway, Crooks Road/Corporate Drive, Long Lake Road, Wattles Road, Big Beaver Road, Livernois Road, Rochester Road, Maple Road, and 14 Mile Road. In addition, we have opened two new Diverging Diamond Interchanges at Big Beaver Road and 14 Mile Roads that provide improved safety and mobility for motorists and pedestrians, as well as installed various Intelligent Transportation Systems to provide safer, coordinated, and ‘smarter’ use of transport networks. We have also expanded the freeway capacity for the future opening of a part-time High-Occupancy Vehicle lane (planned to open as part of the Segment 3 work in late 2023).
As crews focus on punchlist and final closeout items along Segment 2 (North of 13 Mile to North of Coolidge Highway) we will be discontinuing email blasts for Segment 2. If you wish to receive emails regarding Segment 3 (8 Mile Road/M-102 to North of 13 Mile Road, as well as the future HOV opening information), and are not already signed up to receive these notices, please sign up for our Segment 3 email blasts here Segment Updates | I-75 Modernization Project (modernize75.com).
We also encourage you to follow our social media channels to stay up to date on the project.
Thank you!!! The I-75 Modernization Project Team
